Series Recommendation: Blue Gender

A classic premise of human versus monsters that push one’s limit to the max. But can our hero overcome that limit, or succumb to the unending fires of war.

Figure review: Metal Robot Damashii Strike Freedom Gundam

It is I, Jesus Yamato and the most perfect Gundam in existence – Strike Freedom! To be honest, I’m not a supporter of Seed Destiny nor Kira nor the SF, but Bandai really nailed the Metal Robot Damashii of this suit. It is awesome incarnate.

Series Recommendation: Vandread

An action-filled romcom that takes place in the vast space, Vandread is a story about a society divided. For some obscure reasons, men and women are forced to live separately on different colonies, destined to never come into contact with each other. Figure review: Robot Damashii Double X Gundam

In the name of the Moon, I will massacre you! The definition of Overkill – taking the strongest weapon available and give it another one, the Gundam Double X can wipe an army in a blink. The Robot Damashii Double X is a nice representation of this WMD of an MS.

Figure review: Robot Damashii Ghost Gundam

The Ghost Gundam is the repaired form of the EMS-TC02 Phantom Gundam using spare parts for the X1 and X2, which were salvaged from a SNRI supply ship together with the XM-X0 Crossbone Gundam X-0. Anti-beam coating has been applied to the entire body with rare metal discovered from outer space exploration. This beam coating also functions as reactive armor to protect against live ammunition. The Ghost Gundam is capable of using the Phantom Light continuously through several forced cooling cartridges that are mounted like an ammunition belt.

Series Recommendation: Daimaju Gekito Hagane no Oni (Demon of Steel: Battle of the Great Demon Beasts)

Daimajū Gekitō: Hagane no Oni (大魔獣激闘 ~鋼の鬼~, Fierce Battle of Colossal Beasts: Steel Devil) is a 1987 Japanese original video animation directed by Toshiki Hirano, with a screenplay by Shō Aikawa. Mechanical designs were handled by Kōichi Ōhata, and Masami Ōbari served as animation director. The story follows Takuya, who visits a research facility to reconnect with an old friend, uncovering their shared involvement in a mysterious experiment conducted three years earlier, in 1984.
