Shinkalion Change the World Ep 14 Review: Judgement
After the intense fight last episode, now it’s time to check out the aftermath. And in my surprise, Ina…might actually return for good this time. Since this episode mainly deals with what will happen to Ina as well as what happened to her. And we get a slight reveal of the next villain. Once again, the series is portraying ERDA in a bad light, a huge contrast to the previous 2 series. Other than that, we also get to see our next Driver!
For Ina, she has no memories of when she was brainwashed (of course). But the funny thing is she remember where and what she was doing right before she was “captured”. So at least she still has some clues. But what also baffles me is that Ina and ERDA didn’t immediately quarantine and investigate the “glitchy zoo” that we saw. Kacchan-sensei is trying his best to comfort Ina since she just lost years of her life to an evil organization and was doing their bidding. I really like him since he’s the dorky and caring sensei that is both reliable but also can joke with the youngsters.
But of course, the grumpy old man wouldn’t have it. He insisted on jailing Ina and assumed she was lying to spy on ERDA. Basically dude can’t look at a single positive thing in this whole incident. I wonder if he is secretly working with the villains or has a sinister plan of his own. Either way, he needs to be put in his place and the series is doing VERY well to create an unlikeable top wig in the mc’s organization that we usually see in more mature series.

And then we get to the new Driver – this time it is a high-school student president. I really like this guy – both his design and his personality. He’s the type to follow the rules to a miniscule T. Very similar to those “strict prefect and rebellious gyaru” romcom type. But Mogami Ganma is actually not averse to romance as he is in a relationship with his vice president – who is a caring and comforting onee-san (dude won). But yes, one can see how he will be “convince” to drive the Shinkalion. And his will be the E8 Tsubasa – the first of its type since previous Tsubasas were all E3.
For his piloting type, either he will fight with an iron fist or he will be bamboozled and refuse to participate in such “activities”. But of course, he will give in and fight – probably to protect his girlfriend. And by fighting, he will officially allow Taisei’s club to exist. I find it funny that he could even over-argue a teacher. But as we established before, Kacchan can be a pushover sometimes.

At least at the end, Ina finally was absolved of her actions and was even assigned the head of the Shinkalion Engineering division. This is similar to the original Shinkalion anime where the mc’s family is in charge of developing power-ups and stuff. No doubt Ina will create some badass equipment and, of course, once again drive a Shinkalion to “dock” with her little brother ( iykwim 😉 ). But for now, I look forward to Mogami and the E8 debut.

It’s time to fight – both in and out. A2 risked her life to protect the machines she used to hate, and 9S walked into a trap that he used to be careful about.
Grendizer U is finally reaching its finale, and all the factions’ motive and thoughts are gradually revealed
A festival episode where everyone enjoy the festivities. Taisei made a new friend as well as some progress on everyone’s relationship. Overall a feel good episode.
The battle has come to an end, with only 2 episodes left until the end of Code Geass. Ash and Sakuya finally face Norland – or the clone of Charles zi Britannia. Will the two be able to defeat Norland?
The best way to resolve conflict is to sit down and talk, but is it true for Duke and Rubina?
Two people who used to be opposites then, are still opposites now – but their personalities have swapped. An expressive A2 versus a raging, seething 9S. Where will the story take them?
Episode 9 ties up some loose ends and prepares us for the final battle.
Every Mecha anime has that underwater fight episode, and ep 7 is that ep for Grendizer. It also introduces the Spazers and hints at some of Hikaru’s secrets
Hitting two birds with one stone. Akane resolved his issue and the SRG formation is possible. But this episode also has a first for the series.
After 2 episodes without any fight scenes, the viewers are compensated with fiery confrontations
Letting special guests go wild with their styles, episode 6 is filled with diverse, full of personality animation.
She sighs, she pouts, and she smiles. A2 show us a myriad of expression this episode that clear out the dark clouds of negativity. However, not everyone is in a happy mood.
The Hades debut is devastating and overwhelming. A complete defeat for ERDA and Akane, Taisei and Ryota has a lot to work through.
Ash’s full past finally revealed and we see for the first time what his adoptive father – Norland’s like. Along came the terrible realization that crushes Sakuya’s soul.

Taisei officially joined Erda and we also know more about Kuzuryu’s past, and he is Mai’s childhood friend. Perhaps we have seen the first young couple of the series.
Taisei proceeded with his first sortie. But what comes after victory? Can Taisei overcome the next challenge as the decision of his life lies ahead?
A new saga begins. Shinkalion returns with a more grown-up cast and settings, as we depart on a journey of a young brother looking for his missing sister.
Enter the world of NEX racing – AI-assisted races at breakneck speed. Strap in as we are introduced to the general settings as well as watching the top drivers duke it out on the track.
Bang Brave Bang Bravern has come to an end. Although the final episode isn’t very impressive, it serves its purpose as a neat ending to the series.
The conclusion that actually created more problems than the series started with. But we got to see a very well done battle with a pretty badass upgrade.
Fists against fists! Neans against Neans! The battles we’ve been waiting for is here. At this point, action is all we need – as Metallic Rouge head towards the end.
A satisfying conclusion following an awesome battle. Kanata and team set out to save the world and reach a new frontier for humanity.
With only 2 episodes left, Metallic Rouge still spend its time leisurely talking and setting up plot points. This episode contains no action and likewise no impact to the viewer.
“Me and the gang doing side quests before fighting the boss” the episode – Bang Brave Bang Bravern sacrifices its precious pacing for important character development. Also BravernIsami is real.
Even though thought to have revealed its biggest secret, Bang Brave Bang Bravern still got some surprises in stock. The abrupt plot twist gives an already beloved character a lot of depth, through beautiful visual.
A silly road trip in space with Rouge with some emotional flashback. The gang has a new and rather unexpected addition. The final battle is looming over the calm before the storm.
Our Char-clone had a change of heart – or rather, a reclamation of his lost desire. But when one find something, another also lost something…or someone.
“Isami, Yuuki Bakuhatsu!!!” Episode 9 makes viewers explode of hype and emotion with the characters, by revealing the big secret and introducing Bravern’s first gattai form.
A balance episode with both action and exposition. Some beautiful visuals to accompany a ridiculous storyline. Nevertheless Rouge is heading towards the final battle.
The birth of a new determination…and a new songstress. And we get some levity this episode with a “peaceful” resolution between Kanata and “shirokamen”.
The stakes are raised much higher as Lewis and the Brave Knights have to face Cunus, the nigh omnipotent Deathdrive of Debauchery. Episode 8 puts Bang in the Bang Brave Bang Bravern in two different senses.
The aftermath of an intense battle is always a perfect chance to look back…and we peeked much further into the past…the days of Pascale.
