Mecha Character Profile: Ple Two – Gundam ZZ
Newtype are considered a new generation of humans that were born in space along with their telepathic powers in the Gundam Universal Century timeline. However what is even more shocking is that there were people who cloned these Newtype humans for their use in a senseless war – Ple-Two – a direct clone from the young Elpeo Ple is one of the first examples.

I. Background:
– Ple-Two is the first clone of Elpeo Ple – a young powerful Newtype human who was supervised under the direction of Neo Zeon’s Glemy Toto who planned to use them as weapons and tools for his and Haman Karn’s quest to invade the Earth Federation. Her exact date of creation is unknown and her first appearance occurred during the battle with Judau Ashta – the protagonist inside his ZZ Gundam while she piloted a gigantic mobile armor – the Psycho Gundam Mk-II. Although she is not a real Newtype but rather a Cyber Newtype, she is without a doubt made a cold-blooded killer as her own nature, able to obey Glemy Toto’s orders without resisting at all but during that fight, the original Ple tried to stop her resulting in her sacrifice – exploding her Qubeley Mk-II at Ple-Two’s Psycho Gundam Mk-II which revealed her identity in the process and confused Judau.
After that event, her experiences with challenging Judau to a fight – who was also a Newtype and the feelings that clashed with the dead Elpeo Ple, her allegiance began to shift by little. Later in the First Neo Zeon War, she piloted a brand new Queen Mansa mobile suit which she had a final showdown with Judau Ashta’s ZZ Gundam but at the near end of the fight, she was convinced to switch side in which she finally agreed and escaped from the exploding mobile armor while being fatally wounded, she also referred Judau as her big brother same as the original Ple. However she used most of her remaining telepathic powers to save Judau from the crumbling Moussa asteroid before slowly fading away.

II. Skills & Abilities:
– Unlike the original Elpeo Ple, Ple-Two is definitely not joking around, her attitude and personality was mostly the opposite of her original self, Ple-Two at first was made a cold-blooded killer who obeys orders of the Neo Zeon without questioning anything. Although as her experiences grow with Judau and her sense towards the dead Ple, she began to break free from their control and since she was a Cyber Newtype, she experiences headaches sometimes during the fight or when her feelings are unstable. She is somewhat able to be described as a “Tsundere” person in Japanese terms or also known as her words often differed from her actions.
– Her piloting skills were proved to be far superior than the original Ple as well, she is mainly a mobile armor pilot as she pilots a Psycho Gundam Mk-II and a Queen Mansa unit. She often challenges Judau Ashta to a fight and resulted in a draw or other things disrupted her from deciding the battle.
