Mecha Profile: MRX-010 Psycho Gundam Mk-II – Gundam ZZ

The gigantic size and terrifying Psycho Gundam mobile armor roams the battlefield again with its upgraded Mk-II variant, piloted by Ple-Two a Cyber Newtype clone of a powerful Newtype Elpeo Ple. Its daunting design and characteristics had made its name just like the first one.                  
I. Background:
–  Once again the MRX-010 Psycho Gundam Mk-II is a Newtype use only mobile armor similar to its predecessor – the MRX-009 Psycho Gundam since its equipped with the Psycommu system and Psycho Control System which let its pilot able to control it only with its thoughts. Moreover, it is also transformable into a Fortress Mode to hover around using the large Minovsky Craft System as well as being heavily armed with more power output than the first one including more weapons such as wire-guided beam sabers, all-round Mega Beam Cannons and reflector bits for situational use along with beam weapons. The head part is also detachable for the safety of the pilot when needed to escape after the main body is destroyed. 

– Psycho Gundam Mk-II’s first deployment was during the Gryps Conflict by the Murasame Cyber Newtype Lab of the Titans faction, after the destruction of the first one piloted by Rosamia Badam – another Cyber Newtype pilot in which at the time it was attacked by Kamille Bidan’s Zeta Gundam during his mission to stop the Axis forces, the Mk-II was heavily damaged then which resulted the dead of the pilot. After that its wreckage were recovered and rebuilt by the Neo Zeon forces then assigned to Ple-Two – a clone of a powerful Newtype Elpeo Ple and sent to fight against the Anti-Earth Union Group or AEUG. The Psycho Gundam Mk-II then encountered Judau Ashta’s ZZ Gundam, the fierce battle damaged the mobile armor and at the last moments, the original Elpeo Ple used her Qubeley Mk-II to attack it and sacrificed herself along with the destruction of both machines, leaving only the Mk-II’s head to escape along with its pilot.    

II. Skills & Abilities:
– The Psycho Gundam Mk-II is also a transformable mobile armor just like the Mk-I, it can transform into a Mobile Fortress Mode which hovers around with its large Minovsky Craft System and since it is a Cyber Newtype use only, it also has a Psycommu System and Psyco Control System for the pilot to directly control it through their minds.  

–  The Psycho Gundam Mk-II has tons of ranged weapons much similar to the first one but with even more extra firepower. Starting with a pair of Small Mega Beam Cannons on its forehead which can be still functional if the head is detached from the body, serving as a self-defense weapon. One of its notable feature that made it stronger than the first variant was the 20 Mega Beam Cannons that located all around its body, with 6.3 Megawatts if power each, 3 of them on each of its shoulders and 4 on each of its legs with 2 pairs on its skirt armors and 1 on the front skirt armor. The abdomen part can also fire Scattering Mega Beam Cannon just like the previous Mk-I and also all of its 10 fingers with 10 beam cannons.  

– Not only the ranged weapons but this time it also comes with a pair of wire-guided beam swords which uses the Psycommu System to control it via pilot’s mere thoughts and with the forearms still detachable like the older one, the swords had 1.7 Megawatts of power each. The Psycho GUndam Mk-II also comes equipped with reflector bits, they act similar to the funnel weapon but instead of emitting beam attacks, it can reflect or redirect its own beam weapons to attack in another direction, creating an all-directional attack in both offensive and defensive way. The shield is also still carried on to this variant and can be mounted on the lower sides and transformed into Mobile Fortress Mode.
