Macross fans both in Japan and in the United States are getting good news left and right!
Firstly, for the States, Fathom Event will be screening the Macross Frontier movies: Itsuwari Utahime and Sayonara no Tsubasa in theatre this June. Macross Frontier: The False Songstress will screen on June 16, and Macross Frontier: The Wings of Farewell will screen on June 30. Both will screen with English subtitles and will include a special message from Aya Endo (Sheryl Nome) and Megumi Nakajima (Ranka Lee).

Previously, Fathom also held a one-day screening of Macross Plus Movie Edition in U.S theatres on December 14th 2021. So it is obvious that the West is getting more and more official English Macross content. You can even expect the Delta movies to be brought over eventually. Although it maybe a while for the 2nd one (Zettai Live) while the first one might happen towards the end of the year (Gekijou no Walkure).
For Japan, The Osamu Tezuka Museum will be holding a special “Super Dimensional Fortress Macross” Exhibition to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the franchise. On October 3, 1982, the first episode of SDF Macross aired on TV at 2:00PM.

The exhibition will feature a 70cm auto-transforming SDF-1 Macross. In addition, more materials and illustrations of the series will also be featured. The exhibition will be held from July 1st to October 24th at Takarazuka City Tezuka Osamu Museum (7-65 Mukogawacho, Takarazuka, Hyogo Prefecture)
